Federal Buildings Fiber Optic Cabling Connection Project

Congratulations to Rick Trojan, Dakota's GSA Program Manager, for the successful completion of an extremely difficult Fiber Optic Cabling project connecting two federal buildings (JCK & Metcalfe) in downtown Chicago. This project has challenged the General Service Administration's facility managers for years. Dakota installed a total of 300 feet of fiber optic cable between the two buildings. Dakota was praised for our efforts because the project was performed so smoothly. Mr. Randy Robbie, Chief Project Architect, and the Senior Associate Technology Leader for Canon Design, wrote a complementary testimonial letter stating the following:

"Rick, I for one want to congratulate you, I think this is a first for the city of Chicago and will look really good on your companies "Capabilities" list."

Dakota also wishes to congratulate our Project Manager and Superintendent, Dave Koch, for helping to get this project completed on time, on budget, and with no accidents. The crew worked diligently until 3:00 a.m. in the morning on some nights to ensure that key portions of the project were completed according to schedule.
